I mistakenly ascribed the golly doll story to the Daily Post. It was, in fact the Post's sister paper, the Echo which carried the report (http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2008/10/16/racist-golly-dolls-removed-from-albert-dock-shop-100252-22048103/ ).
